Science Incessant – A Bilingual (English, Hindi) Quarterly, E-magazine Dedicated to SCIENCE by Anuragyam, New Delhi

Vision

Anuragyam Science and Technology is a close-knit group of Anuragyam Delhi that works in the area of science and technology at the national and international level, hosting a variety of events and competitions. Science is simple and fascinating. We must provide it to society as well. Anuragyam science and technology has a commitment towards Action, Scientific Socialisation, Ideas and Aims to increase public acceptance of science. In this scenario, the editors of the science magazine “Science Incessant” hopes to give you all a holistic tour of science.

Objectives

1. Make science a part of students’ everyday lives.
2. Increasing the compatibility between science and practical instruction.
3. Fostering scientific temperament in children and young people.
4. Encourage dialogue and communication.
5. Make recent discoveries and knowledge available to readers.
6. Involve students to educate the public about forgotten scientists.
7. Inform the society about noteworthy scientific events through students.
8. Assure that students comprehend current events, share their opinions, and give their consideration.
9. Encourage social and global development that is sustainable.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The editorial impulse of the Science Incessant Magazine lies in its depth of open inquiry, commitment to interdisciplinary thought, and an emphasis on exploring science.

We appreciate the opportunity to consider solicited and unsolicited articles (written), poetry, story that resonant with our “Science Incessant” e-magazine’s focus on science.

WRITTEN ARTICLES

Please submit your written articles in a format that can be read by Microsoft Word. Feel free to include a cover letter, but they are not necessary. Please include a short introduction with passport size photo.

We would like to prefer new and original work. But simultaneous submissions are welcome and encouraged. In case, your work is accepted elsewhere, please inform us immediately.

All texts must be submitted in English/Hindi. Authors not fluent in English should write in their native language and then have the text professionally translated before submitting it.

By submitting, you verify that you are the Author of the submitted work, and that the Author grants Rights to the Science Incessant Magazine for publication. Rights revert to the Author upon publication.

All images included in the submission article are the responsibility of the Author. It is the Author’s responsibility to ensure that any images used their submissions do not break international copyright law.

FORMAT OF POETRY OR STORY

The science poetry or story sent should follow these guidelines:

(1) The length of science poem should not exceed 20 lines and length of story should not exceed 4500 words.

(2) At the beginning title, should be given. Only original work will be entertained. Plagiarism is unacceptable.

(3) Font should be 11-point Arial, normal in English.

FORMATTING THE WRITTEN ARTICLE

The article should be prepared according to the following guidelines:

(1) The length of article should be normally 3,000 words and should not exceed 5,000 words, including an abstract and notes. An article exceeding the length limit will be returned to the author.

(2) At the beginning of the article, the title, abstract and a list of key words should immediately precede the text.

(3) All citations (if any) should be in end of the article.

(4) Font should be 11-point Arial, whether in normal.

We would like you to credit Science Incessant e-magazine as place of first publication. Science Incessant e-magazine reserves the right to make minor copy editing changes to the manuscript. Any major editorial changes will require author’s approval prior to publication.

ACCEPTABLE FILE TYPES

Please submit texts in MS Word.
PDF files are not acceptable.
Images should be in .jpg or .png format.

ILLUSTRATION GUIDELINES

Illustrations are encouraged for all articles (if relevant) and should be provided as high-resolution jpg digital images. Lettering on diagrams must be professional quality.

CREDITS AND COPYRIGHT PERMISSION

Captions to images used in all articles must also include credits to owners and, in the case of copyrighted material, the names of copyright holders. Authors are responsible for securing permissions to reprint copyrighted material and must supply original.

Articles published in the Science Incessant Magazine remain in the copyright of the author. Copyrights to illustrations published in the Science Incessant Magazine remain with their current copyright holders.

SUBSCRIPTION

Payment of INR 1000/- is a 1 year subscription to the Science Incessant Magazine.
