We are delighted to welcome you to “SOHAI – Contemporary Visual Art Exhibition 2025”, a vibrant 3-day celebration of artistic brilliance and cultural expression, hosted by the Chhattisgarh Progressive Artists Group (CGPAG). This prestigious event brings together the imaginative minds and creative souls of 47 distinguished visual artists, each showcasing their unique perspectives and artistic journeys through compelling contemporary art.

A Grand Inauguration
The exhibition will be graced and inaugurated by our Chief Guest, Mrs. Meenal Chaubey, Hon’ble Mayor of Raipur Nagar Nigam, whose dedication towards civic enrichment and cultural upliftment is truly commendable.
We are also honoured by the presence of our Special Guest, Padma Shri Anup Ranjan Pandey, a legendary figure in Indian cultural preservation and folklore, who continues to inspire generations through his contributions to performing and visual arts.
A Tribute to a Legend
This event is held in loving memory of Late Professor Dr. U.C. Mishra, former Dean and Head of the Department, Faculty of Visual Art, I.K.S.V., Khairagarh. Dr. U.C. Mishra’s immense contribution to the field of art education in Chhattisgarh continues to guide and illuminate the path for aspiring artists.
Paricharcha: A Confluence of Thoughts
On 13th April at 2:00 PM, experience an enriching “Paricharcha” (Discussion) with renowned voices from the world of art, storytelling, critique and sculpture.
